I’m a scientific illustrator and graphic designer from Costa Rica. I’m currently doing an interdisciplinary PhD between art and natural sciences in the Conservation Ecology Group (Faculty of Science and Engineering) of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. My research delves into the use and effectiveness of visual communication in specific scientific ecological subjects. In the case of this specific project I am using rewilding with emphasis on the enrichment of knowledge of the public about the European bison and its ecology.
